15th Annual League City “Holiday in the Park” Parades, Festival & More
Posted In: League City News Posted by Pam Moore on 11/30/2012

Saturday, December 1

“Holiday in the Park” Children’s Parade at League Park, 10am;

“Breakfast with Santa” at South Shore Harbour Resort, Paradise Reef/Lobby, 8:30am-11:30am;

“Toys for Tots” Softball Tournament at Big League Dreams;

Grand Night Parade – (East Main Street) & “Holiday in the Park” – (League Park), 6pm The parade is traditionally a family favorite, so get your spot along Main Street early! One year it was actually cold and we brought warm drinks, blankets and chairs along to keep comfy before the parade made its way to our location. Marching units, fire trucks, floats, high school bands and dance groups are just a sample of what you will see this evening. After the parade is over, walk on over to League Park to look at the vendor area, grab a bite to eat or, check out the carnival rides!

“Festival of Trees”/Holiday Magic at South Shore Harbour Resort, 6pm-8pm;

Pictures w/Santa by the Gingerbread House at South Shore Harbour Resort, 6pm-8pm.

Sunday, December 2

 “Holiday in the Park” Festival, League Park, 12noon-5pm

If you didn’t get to League Park on Saturday, you still have lots to see on Sunday. Local music groups, vendors, food and a carnival will get your family in holiday spirits! Santa will be on hand to talk to your special little one (just like mine did – photo). Be prepared for the possibility of snow!
