Interfaith Caring Ministries’ “Festival of Trees” display began November 3rd and will be ending on December 21st. This is the 19th Annual Fundraiser for ICM, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help those in need in the Bay Area. ICM is located at 151 Park Avenue in League City.
Over 50 holiday trees have been decorated by organizations, groups or businesses and put on display in the hotel lobby. Starting on December 5th (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm South Shore Harbour Resort will have refreshments, live music and Santa (so, bring your cameras!); Holiday Family Dinner Buffets will be offered in The Reef from 5 pm-9 pm; all this for a nominal fee of $12.95.
When you come to the South Shore Harbour Resort to view the trees, you will also be amazed by the work of SSHR’s Chef Roland Kyburz’s (and his culinary team) impressive, 6 foot tall Gingerbread House. The Gingerbread House is also on display in the hotel’s lobby.
According to Suzy Domingo, executive Director of the Interfaith Caring Ministries, “The staff, volunteers and board of directors of Interfaith Caring Ministries know that times are tough for most of us, and with a little help from a lot of people, we are able to make a great impact on the many struggling families who will benefit from your generosity.”
