11th Annual Kemah Mardi Gras

Bay Area residents don’t have far to travel to enjoy Mardi Gras, because Kemah’s 11th Annual Mardi Gras has plenty to offer!

Beginning Friday, February 1st, the official Krewe of Kemah, Krewe du Lac, celebrates “France” with a kick-off party at Bakkhus Taverna. Other planned activities are:

Feb 1 – Kick-Off Party @ Bakkhus Taverna on 6th Street
Feb 2 – Galloway Gallop Fun Run, Kemah Boardwalk Arch (starting area)
Feb 2 – Kemah Mardi Gras Parade – 11 am
Feb 2 – Post-Parade Mardi Pardi @ T-Bone Tom’s Backyard – noon to dusk;
Feb 2 – Masquerade Ball @ Zone 504, 504 Kipp Street – 9 pm;
Feb 9 – “Yachty Gras” Boat Parade @ Kemah Boardwalk – 7pm.
